May of 2022 and May of 2023 we had the joy and privilege of visiting Puscina Flowers Farm as part of our Italian floral retreat.
An absolute pinnacle of our floral retreat in Italy is the day we spend at the @PuscinaFlowers farm. Perched atop a hill in Tuscany with beautiful sweeping views of the countryside sits this magical enclave, the first flower farm in Tuscany. Launched by three sisters in 2014, this incredible farm cultivates more than 200 species and 400 varieties of organic flowers and foliage. It had long been a dream of mine to see this remarkable farm and the opportunity to visit here with our floral retreat participants is icing on the cake!
Our time began with Teresa, who runs the farm with her sister Laura, sharing the story of their family farm, followed by a tour of their magnificent gardens. They let us loose in the field with our clippers to choose what we like for our designs, after which we returned to their beautiful studio, flooded with natural light, to unleash our creativity. Meanwhile the family prepared a delectable lunch for us to enjoy al fresco under their lovely trees.
I don’t think I could have dreamed up a more perfect day and way to enjoy flowers with our floral retreat guests.
