oh my gosh .. if you are into puzzles you must order Christin’s puzzle, also a perfect gift to give! Most definitely a great project to work on as we continue to face Covid stay-at-home restrictions. I’ll tell ya, working on this puzzle is keeping my brain focused and away from news and social media outlets. My husband is also really enjoying working on the puzzle and we tend to get quite into working on it together after dinner every evening. I won’t lie .. It’s an intense puzzle with 1,000 pieces!!

These Boots! I’m about to gush .. about boots! The kind people at MERRY PEOPLE reached out to me to see if I’d try out a pair of their boots during my gardening adventures, waterproof boots obviously come in very hand here in Washington State. I’ve put these boots to the test this past fall, wore them during the annual dahlia dig up day amongst other gardening adventures. I’m pleased to share they kept my feet warm and dry during all my gardening adventures. The thick sole kept my feet off the cold ground preventing that “too the bones chill” I’ve often encountered during fall gardening. Author Jennifer Jewell assembled this fascinating collection of 75 Extraordinary Women Working in the World of Plants. I am embarrassed to admit this, it had been years since I last read a book from cover-to-cover. No particular reason, I just hadn’t set aside the time to sit and read (ie – wasted too much time on social media). I picked up this book at the amazing garden store Ravenna Gardens and said to myself – I’m reading this whole book … and I did, and I wondered why I had ever given up reading books. The stories of 75 amazing women in the world of plants, I could barely put it down. Seriously – get this book, read it, it’s packed full of so much information and inspiration.
