As a business owner with a creative heart I find the “off season” to be a true test of faith. Even after 14 successful seasons I ask myself, “will I actually book this season?” “Will it be as good as last year?” (Both in terms of sales and creativity?)

Last week when dropping off my bouquets, my bride exclaimed, “You’re a miracle worker” because I took a pile of her various photos and created the bouquets she had envisioned.
Love this idea! I get great compliments from my customers. What touched me most was waking up after a Valentine’s Day pop-up shop I did to see picture after picture tagged on Instagram of gifted bouquets people bought from me. So many feels! I also recently received an email from an event stylist in our city who I have never had the chance to work with or meet but admired her work from afar, saying she had followed my work for some time and wanted to meet with me to discuss collaborating on a project. Getting props from industry people you admire totally keeps the ball rolling for me!
These are great things to remember whenever you have a doubt about all the hard work you put into your business! A miracle worker is an excellent compliment! And someone taking the time to tag and share photos is awesome! Amazing marketing for your company!
