Tranquility is easily my favorite white garden rose in the garden. It’s a great rose for cut floral arranging.
Tranquility (Ausnoble) is an English Shrub Rose Bred By David Austin and introduced in 2004.
I find the stems to be strong and long, bloom clusters are showy and delightful. The plant is so healthy, I never seem to fight black spot on this plant (living in Washington state black spot is a concern). It was planted in 2019 and now the size of this plant is about 4′ tall and 3-4′ wide. It blooms throughout the season. Oh, and the fragrance is delightful. The cut stems last for quite a few days in my floral designs.
The photo to the right side here shows how the rose blooms open over the course of a week. It starts out with a bit of a buttercream yellow center which fades to white and the center button becomes quite noticeable.
Image bottom left shows a cluster of the rose blooms on one stem.
Image bottom right shows the full plant, it grows about 4′ tall and 3′ wide. The leaves are glossy and green and very few thorns on the stems.
