ITʼS TIME TO PUT THE PETALS TO THE METAL ON THE FIRST-EVER FLORAL SHOW
This is not your grandmotherʼs gardening show! “The Arrangement,” the first-ever floral design competition series, shows what it takes to be a master in the cutthroat business of extreme floral design. With high stakes challenges, colorful contestants and explosive conflicts, “The Arrangement” reveals that surviving the world of floral design is far from “tiptoeing through the tulips.”
“The Arrangement” pits ten talented designers against each other in a series of over-the-top challenges that demand using flowers in entirely unexpected ways. From naked models, to drag queens, to Smart Cars, each challenge will be more fiercely outrageous than the last. Expect this series to highlight the camp and drama of each challenge in full bloom. – written by LOGO
Ah, finally a competition show with floral designers as competitors. It is exciting to see a show that showcases my profession, it is even more exciting to see that it was done really well. The competitors are all very interesting and very different. I really love seeing the style and essence of each designer pull through in each of the challenges which not only beg design aesthetic, but great technique. The challenges are not for the faint of heart, they are all very complex, very thoughtful and none looked easy given the resources and time constraints. Floral designer extraordinaire Eric Buterbaugh and author, screenwriter Gigi Levangie Grazer host the show and judge the contestants each week.
Yes, my friends, the world of floral design can really be neurotic! See for yourself – “The Arrangement” airs Wednesday, November 8th at 10/9c. Catch up on episodes here: The Arrangement Episodes . Please let us know what you think about this new series.
Our very talented friend, Chuck Graham of Blume HausFloral Design will be interviewing each contestant over the next few weeks. Please check back daily to “meet” each contestant on “The Arrangement“.

I am shocked by what I have seen..if the American public is to thinks this is floral Design its a sad day for Floristry in the USA…and irresponsible of the presenters and producers . There are only 3 designers out of the bunch ,in my book and one got dumped on the last episode …..clowns could do better than some of the horrific work I have seen..mmm maybe some of these so called designers are clowns…neurotic isnt the word ..nonsense is .
Personally, I’m more irked by their apparent lack of knowledge. As a whole, they often misname, mispronounce or completely mangle the names of flowers, foliages, techniques…
Coffee bean? Really?!
Its hypericum.
Or coffee berry.
Or St John’s Wart.
That’s my lone gripe.
Otherwise, I’m really appreciating the non-traditional floral art being flashed on TV screens all across America!
