A Flirty Fleurs Floral Design Class where David Austin Garden Roses are the featured flower – the room is filled with the heavenly scent of these beauties, the designers attending the workshop are excited to work with these gorgeous blooms. Oh my, we had so many roses to play with and the designers could use as many as they wished (I could also use as many as I wished in an arrangement for myself!). To top it all off, an amazing photographer who specializes in flower photography happens to reside right here in Seattle and luckily for us she was able to stop by and photograph the arrangements. Thank you, Georgianna Lane, for these lovely shots capturing student’s work –
I find it amazing how six students (I keep my class size small on purpose to make sure each attendee receives plenty of attention) can be given the same foliages and flowers to select from and will each design a completely original design. Truly enjoyed this floral design workshop and spending time with these lovely ladies!

This was a great class! I learned so much about these roses, and getting to ask Georgianna questions about flower photography was an extra, unexpected treat. Thank you Alicia!
Hi Alicia, Thank you for such a wonderful, fun class — I learned so much! It was a delight to be able to work with David Austin roses and to meet you and Georgianna. Your David Austin Roses week on your blog is lovely — and it’s very helpful to have photographs of each rose and its personal qualities.
Thanks again!
Sabrina
