Amsterdam’s Floating Flower Market

Along the Singel Canal is the Floating Flower Market which has been here since 1862. The shops really are on floating barges, this is because years ago the flowers were brought in by boat.

The back side of the floating market, you can see how they really are set on floating barges.

The front of the market seen from the street, how inviting!
